Matthew P. Cheng

Matt is an infec­tious dis­ease spe­cial­ist and med­ical micro­bi­ol­o­gist by train­ing. Pre­vi­ous­ly, Matt joined the McGill Uni­ver­si­ty Health Cen­ter as a clin­i­cian-sci­en­tist, where his research pro­gram pro­duced over 150 peer-reviewed man­u­scripts and has been pub­lished in lead­ing sci­en­tif­ic jour­nals. Matt obtained an M.D. from McGill Uni­ver­si­ty and an S.M. from the Har­vard School of Pub­lic Health. He also com­plet­ed post-doc­tor­al fel­low­ship train­ing at Brigham and Women’s Hos­pi­tal and the Dana-Far­ber Can­cer Insti­tute, where his research was patent­ed and licensed to Eurofins. He has received a num­ber of acco­lades, includ­ing the Ter­ry Fox Human­i­tar­i­an Award.
