Kyle Jacoby

Kyle is a trans­la­tion­al research sci­en­tist, spe­cial­iz­ing in the ear­ly stage dis­cov­ery, devel­op­ment, and clin­i­cal test­ing of cell and gene ther­a­pies. Before join­ing Kan­vas, Kyle served as Fed­er­a­tion Bio’s VP of Research. Pre­vi­ous­ly Kyle devel­oped a first-in-class non-viral genome engi­neer­ing method and led a team to use it in a phase 1 clin­i­cal tri­al to gen­er­ate per­son­al­ized T cell ther­a­pies for can­cer patients at PACT Phar­ma. He also led the Tech­nol­o­gy Devel­op­ment team for the Pro­gram for Cell and Gene Ther­a­pies at Seat­tle Children’s Research Insti­tute after receiv­ing his PhD from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Washington’s Cel­lu­lar and Mol­e­c­u­lar Biol­o­gy program.
